Costco ABF Spatchcock Chicken Olive Oil Herb

It is BBQ season! This spatchcock chicken, made by the American BBQ Company, is off the charts! Our household was regular buyers of the Citrus Peppercorn Spatchcock Chicken that Costco had a while back & now they’ve got this new brand/flavor in stock…….olive oil, herb & citrus. I was disappointed when I stopped seeing the Citrus Peppercorn in stock, but I gotta be honest……..I think I like this one better. It’s unbelievable tasty & is such a simple meal to cook. Throw it on the BBQ with some rice & grilled asparagus & you’ve got yourself a meal for 4 for around $20.

Here’s my surefire way to cook it perfectly every time. I get the BBQ pre-heated to about 400 degrees. I’ve got a 3 burner grill so I turn off the middle one & keep the 2 sides going. I throw the bird on & turn the temperature down to 325-350 with a digital leave in thermometer & cook it until it reaches an internal temperature of 160. It takes about 50-60 minutes depending on your BBQ. Please click below for the thermometer & the grill brush I use that I couldn’t live without. PLEASE check out the grill brush. I’ve used so many awful one’s in the past that fall apart. I’ve had this one for over a year with no issues …….

The chicken they use has no antibiotics & no hormones added. It contains up to a 16% citrus brine & herb sauce & it costs $3.99 a pound. It’s a little more expensive than just plain chicken, but it’s totally worth it. If you see it, grab it! You won’t regret it!

Price: $3.99/lb, Item Number: 18997
