Costco Edamame, Okami Organic Edamame 32 Ounces

This Organic Costco Edamame is a staple in our household. Scroll for photos. Besides the health benefits, I love having this stuff around because it prevents me from snacking on chips & crackers. Don’t get me wrong, I love to eat my multigrain chips & organic hummus, but this is a great alternative to have in the refrigerator. Best of all, they are cheap & healthy. Edamame is considered a legume. It is a low calorie & high in protein snack. The most addicting part about these is that they are lightly salted. There is just enough salt to keep you coming back for more. These can be found in the refrigerated (not frozen) section of Costco. Costco also sells the organic edamame pasta (noodles & spaghetti), so if you enjoy this, make sure to try those products. Anyways, here are a few more details about this Costco Edamame……..

  • 11 grams of protein per serving
  • Good Source of Iron & Potassium

This is one of my favorite healthy snack options. They are high in protein & low in fat & calories. Our 2 year old absolutely loves them too! It’s a great snack that fits all the requirements: easy, cheap & healthy! Read the back and they give you a little more information about the history and health benefits of edamame. They’ve been around a long time! You can serve them hot, but I’ve only ever enjoyed them cold.
