Udon Noodles? Yes, please! Costco sells this 6 pack of Premium Nongshim Udon Noodles for $14.99. Now that comes out to about $2.50 per bowl which isn’t bad considering they are over a half pound each. I’ve purchased them before & they are very tasty & filling. They’re especially great on the go when you don’t have time to make a lunch and don’t feel like spending $10-$15 for a burrito or sandwich. Whether or not they are healthy, is another question. I try not to get them too often because of the salt content, but that is to be expected for any dry food item like this. It’s got 1820 milligrams of sodium per bowl, which make me drink water all night, so that’s why we purchase them infrequently. They do boast 9 grams of protein and are very low on sugar.
These Nongshim Udon noodle bowls can be purchased for $14.99 & are good for a little over 6 months. You can see on the packaging they are not due to expire until about December 2020. They are ready after only 4 minutes in the microwave & are made with BPA free plastic. It’s a big upgrade from the maruchan/cup-o-noodles/top ramen I used to eat for quick lunches.
