Costco Hippeas Organic Vegan White Cheddar

These are my new addiction. I may or may not have eaten an entire Costco bag for dinner 1 night. If you’re looking for the perfect afternoon snack or sandwich pairing, you’ve found em. Whats not to love about them? They’re organic, gluten free, vegan, Kosher, Non-GMO & don’t contain nuts or soy for those with allergies. Hippeas are the perfect cip alternative & the white cheddar is addicting. Now Costco just needs to start carrying the other flavors (Nacho Vibes, Bohemian Barbecue, Sriracha Sunshine & Himalayan Happiness). They are $6.99, however, I purchased 3-4 bags when they were on sale for $4.99. (I’ll update the photo when/if they go on sale again)

  1. Remember the row over MSG ? Well…this contains the equivalent hidden behind “Natural Ingredients” ; Yeast extract . Tasty toxic garbage which is cheap to make and bad for our health . Ironically , Nutritional Yeast from which it is derived is very good for our health but when Glutamic Acid is free form our bodies don’t process it well at all , it becomes an excitotoxin . Very disappointing but I returned my product to Costco for a refund . 😛

    1. Thanks Richard! We really started cracking down on that as well. We were introduced to the “Bobby Approved” guy & it’s really cleaned up our diets. You are right about these Hippeas. My new favorite item Costco sells are the Siete Fuego Chips If you haven’t tried them, they’re amazing! Little pricey, but no “natural flavors”

    1. We were in Maui this year & I purchased these at Costco. That was in August, but I know they were there. They go in and out of stock at my Costco’s too so it may be temporary. Keep checking back & I’m sure they’ll pop back up. Let me know
