Costco Avocado Mayo, Sir Kensington Mayonnaise

Costco sells this Sir Kensington Avocado Mayo for $9.99. Scroll down for photos. Now I have never been a mayonnaise person & it has never been part of my diet until recently. I’ve never used it on sandwiches or dressing’s & we never even had it in our refrigerator. Let me just say that this mayo is awesome! The reason I purchased it was because my wife & I decided to try the Ryan Fischer carb cycle diet plan. What I realized is that I was not getting enough fats in during my low carb days. Mayonnaise, Butter & Oil are the high fat items I was looking for to get my fats in. I also wanted a variety & for it to be high quality. That’s where Sir Kensington comes in. It’s a high quality tasty addition to my dinner vegetables & sandwiches. Here is a little more information about this Costco Avocado Mayo…….

Now my first thought was that this was a little pricey for mayonnaise. You can get the huge tub of Best Foods Mayonnaise for cheaper. I’ve had that before & it’s nowhere near as good as this stuff. Plus it’s a huge tub that we’ll never finish & it doesn’t have the high quality ingredients this does. Take a look at the ingredients. It’s all items you can name. I use this on my grilled vegetables & it’s amazing. Even after the diet I will probably continue to use it. The nice thing is that 1 tablespoon goes a long way so it will still last a long time. If you can’t find this at Costco or want to try all the other HIGH QUALITY Sir Kensington products, make sure to check them out here…….

    1. I have a jar in my refrigerator right now & I can’t exactly remember. I am about 90% sure it was a pop top. No seal. When I opened it I heard the audible pop letting me know I broke the seal. I’ll try to get back to you when I buy my next jar

  1. Hi.
    What does it taste like?
More avocado taste or mayo taste or a mixture of both?
Is there any separation of oil?
    Thanks!

    1. So it’s got a little bit more bite to it than regular Best Foods Mayonnaise. It’s got to be the vinegar or the lime juice. I really enjoy that bite, since it gives my grilled vegetables a wonderful flavor. I don’t get a whole lot of the avocado taste since it’s just avocado oil. It’s still awesome though. I went through the bottle in about a month & had no separation at all. I was surprised how fast it went & I was the only person eating it too! I probably used about 2 tablespoons each time. Now that I mention it I should probably lighten up on my servings =). Hope that helps

    1. No Sir! I just saw it yesterday at my local Costco. I thought this jar would last me a lot longer than it did, but I am eating it much faster than I like. It’s amazing with BBQ’d vegetables. Great source of healthy fats too. I’m going to have to grab another jar soon. Let me know if you end up finding it. Good luck!

      1. Please in your articles could you tell us which Costco you find things in. As you say all Costco’s are different. I can’t find the Sir Kensington Mayo. What city and state did you find it.

        1. I found these at almost every Costco in the Bay Area, CA. Sometimes they are located on the side of the warehouse (food side) & other times I have found it in the middle aisle. I am almost done with mine and will be needing more. It’s unbelievably good with BBQ vegetables! Hope you find it. Thanks for stopping by Linda
