This is one of the newest “smart” garage door openers that features a built in video camera at 1080P with a battery backup. I installed a smart garage door opener a few years back & I absolutely love it. I can open the garage from anywhere in the world as long as I have data access. My phone gets alerts whenever it is opened, so I always know what’s going on at the house. I don’t have the included video, but that is a feature I think would be great. Chamberlain has been around since the 1950s & it continues to be one of the better garage door opener manufacturers. Here are a few more details about this Costco Garage Door Opener…..

Costco Chamberlain B6753T Garage Door Opener

I don’t have this exact model, but I have one VERY similar to it. Mine has the battery backup as well as the Whisper Belt Drive Quiet Operation. I absolutely love both features. We’ve had the power go out numerous times & I can always get the garage door open & closed. This allows me to get the generator running for the house. My little ones room is also right next to the garage, so it’s nice to be able to use the garage door without waking him up. It is surprisingly quiet. It does require some annual maintenance, cleaning & lubrication though. They don’t currently sell this on Costco.com, but they do sell the Genie Model: 7155L-TKV for $179.99 (on sale!). I HIGHLY RECOMMNED the battery backup, so if you can’t find this in-store, check out these alternatives (AMAZING REVIEWS!!)…….
