Costco sells this Ancient Organics Grass Fed Ghee Butter for $23.99. Scroll down for photos. This is the first time I came across Ghee at Costco. I know they have carried it in the past, but I could never find it. Finally I found this organic grass fed Ghee in the San Francisco Costco. We have been incorporating Ghee more & more into our cooking. We find that it’s a great substitute for high heat sautéing because it has a smoke point of 485. It’s good to avoid all those carcinogens. We’ll throw a little bit in a pan & fry up some vegetables or potatoes. It’s got a buttery flavor with a hint of toasted nuts. This is one of the best deals around for organic ghee. Even if you are unfamiliar with the product I recommend you give it a try. There are numerous health benefits associated with ghee. It is supposed to be good for your heart & cardiovascular system. The most common way I like to use it is to fry up my eggs in the morning & have some scrambled eggs over a piece of toast (specifically this bread). This product lasts a while & does not need to be refrigerated. The expiration date is over a year away, so it gives you plenty of time to use it.
