Costco Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter 4 Pack 8 Ounces

I always shrugged off butter as “just buy the cheapest one” so I feel like I am the last person on the planet to have discovered the KerryGold brand. This stuff is amazing just like the KerryGold cheese (post to follow). The butter is more expensive than the Kirkland brand, but I would say it’s totally worth it. It’s salted, sweet creamy butter made in Ireland. “In Ireland, cows graze on the green pastures of small family farms. This milk is churned to make KerryGold butter”.

My favorite is just eating some classic bread with butter. I toast few slices of Organic Artisan Bakers Super Seed Bread & slather on some Kerrygold & it’s the perfect mid-day snack. If you’ve ever tried putting butter in your coffee I would recommend the high quality stuff like Kerrygold. You’re sure to taste a difference. It’s salted butter as opposed to the unsalted stuff & you get 4 x 8oz bars for $12.99.

UPDATE: 6/13/2020 This Kerrygold butter, both salted & unsalted, is on sale. That means this butter is only $8.99. That is a RIDICULOUSLY good deal. If you can’t find this at Costco or just want to get it delivered, make sure to check out the Amazon links below. Am I the only one who gets excited about this stuff? Check it out …….

  1. How do you accurately measure the 8oz blocks? I’ve been cutting the blocks in half to make into two 4oz sticks, n then go from there. It seems to be working for me. How do you Marie It out?

    1. If you take a look on the back they have the 8 ounce stick marked in 1 tablespoon increments. It’s in very small writing on the bottom & is easy to miss. That is the most accurate way I am able to measure. The other, less convenient way, would be to melt it & measure from there. It would be nice if they came in 4 ounce sticks that were marked like the Costco Kirkland Signature butter. Hope that helps!

        1. That’s a good idea. It’s also nice to have one around because it’s great for diets. It’s nice to know your eating exactly X ounces of food. Thanks for the tip

    1. Bummer! It just went on sale here on the West Coast. They have both salted and unsalted for $8.99. Hopefully they’re not pulling it from all the Costco’s! Thanks for the heads up though

    1. Thanks for the heads up! That’s a great deal………$4 off. I’m going to buy a couple and throw 1 in the freezer.
