For only $50 you get 4 personal water filter that last up to 1,000 gallons. 1,000 gallons is a LOT of water per person. Even if you used this every day & drank 1 gallon of water, it would last almost 3 years. For all you backpackers / hikers / adventurers, this is a great tool to keep in your backpack in case of an emergency. I feel like I read a couple articles every year about hikers getting lost. Our family doesn’t go on hikes frequently, but I am seriously considering buying them for “just in case”. It’s only $50 & they have an unlimited shelf life. So this could literally be a once in a lifetime purchase & if they never get used, that means I never had an emergency so that’s a good thing. Also, I could probably just return them 40 years later =). These Lifestraws get great reviews too! They are currently sold on Costco.com with a 4.8/5 rating & the reviews on Amazon are awesome too! If you buy them on Costco.com right now, it’s the same price as in store…..$49.99. No extra cost for shipping & handling.
