Costco Relaxalounger Eurolounger Futon

We owned a futon in college & it was a cheap piece of furniture. It broken in about a dozen pieces in less than a year. These relaxalounger’s from Costco are sturdy. I’ve slept on it as a futon. It was comfortable given the fact that it was a futon. The bonded leather holds up well & is easy to clean. I’ve seen this item consistently for years, so if you can’t find it in stock, it will probably come back soon. It’s 1 BIG box, so make sure to bring a flat cart inside Costco. These relaxalounger’s seem to be pretty popular, so make sure to check out these HIGHLY RATED alternatives…….

  1. Where does the power connect to the item from the home outlet? See outlets and usb. How to get house electricity to them?

    1. There should be a plug on the rear of the sofa. You’re should have come with a power cord. Let me know if you end up figuring it out

    1. I’m not really sure Stefany. I believe these are back in stock, so I can try to measure next time I go. The main sofa is not broken into parts so it is a long and heavy box if that helps

  2. Can you tell me if the futon part of this (the ‘mattress’ if you will, can be carried separately from the base. I am 68 years old and my son 34 so too heavy for us in one piece.

    1. Yes. If you take a look at the box it is a slender box. I believe these come in 2 separate pieces. Hope that helps

    1. They are just different styles. The new models both contain USB ports. The Ravenna looks like it is slightly more modern and boxy as opposed to the Verona which looks to be a little more rounded. I’m guessing they are built similarly. They just have different styles. Unfortunately, they are both out of stock right now

  3. We purchased the Eurolounger last week. We have two flights of steps that we need to transport. It is 130lbs in the box.
Does it sit on a frame or just legs? Is the cushioned part in one or two pieces?
Thanks for you help in advance.

    1. It sits on the legs. The legs need to be installed as well as a couple other items. It should be fairly straightforward with the instructions in the box. It should be manageable to get up the stairs in 1 piece. Hope that helps

    1. I haven’t seen them recently, but I’ll keep my eyes peeled for them. I swear they were on sale ALL the time last year, but I haven’t seen them recently.

      1. Awesome Andy! I haven’t seen these at my Costco in a couple of months. They always end up showing up at some point throughout the year though. Glad you love it! I was looking at getting one for my garage cause I know they can take abuse and be cleaned pretty easily

    1. You would need to find these in store. I believe these are a seasonal item & I have not seen them in store the last few months. They had them late Fall through Winter, so unfortunately you may have to wait until fall. I’ll keep my eye out for them & let you know as soon as I see them in stock
