Costco Stadium Seat, Cascade Mountain Tech Folding Seat

Costco sells this Cascade Mountain Tech Stadium Seat for $24.99. Scroll down for photos. These little seats are awesome! They’re lightweight, portable & usually WAY more comfortable than sitting on a hard wood or metal surface. They are easy to carry & setup. This is another one of those items that would be great to leave in the trunk of your car. For all those kids baseball games & outdoor functions, it’s always nice to have an extra chair around. It only weighs 5 pounds too, so it makes for such a lightweight chair. Last time I was at a MLB baseball game I remember seeing people with these in the bleachers. Now I know why. I always end up getting uncomfortable sitting on those aluminum bleachers. This is the way to go! Here are a few more details about this Costco Stadium Seat……..

  • Brand: Cascade Mountain Tech
  • Strong Aluminum Frame
  • Removable Back
  • No Assembly Required
  • Weighs Less than 5 Pounds
  • Folds For Easy Storage
  • Carry Grip Handle

Costco Cascade Mount Tech Stadium Seat, Lightweight Aluminum

This is one of those items that is just nice to have around. For only $25, you can keep it in your garage or car & you’ll probably use it a couple times a year. This would be great for camping or RV’ing, but can also be used day to day at kids sporting events or any outdoor activities. Costco doesn’t sell this on their website currently, so this is an in store only product. I didn’t realize how many types of stadium seats were out there, but make sure to check out these other HIGHLY RATED products (make sure to check out the first one! The reviews are amazing)……..

    1. I have not seen these seats in Costco stores for months now. They were only on the shelves for several weeks. I’ll keep my eye out if I see any, but with summer coming to a close I’m afraid they’re gone. Sorry Jeanette. Good luck

      1. Glad you got your hands on them Kathy! Where are you located? I haven’t seen these in stock for weeks now. Maybe others who are located near you can grab them. I’m assuming they’ll be off the shelves soon, since summer is over in less than 2 weeks. Thanks for letting us know!

  1. No, for that you would need to pack a Lazy Boy recliner. For these, it privides lumbar support (lower back) once your rear end is holding the whole thing down. It is a heck of a lot better than just bleachers, and supporting the lower back from crampng, plus relieving some of that TB from a non-padded bleacher. People around you will envy you. Just watch. “Wow, what are they, rich?” No, just smart. Good luck to you in all your bleacher-bound spectator activities!

    1. Thanks for the comment Badback Billy. It really does make the bleacher seats more enjoyable, because sitting on aluminum for 9 innings can be rough. It’s probably the reason we leave most games early. Glad you are the envy of the bleacher crowd =)

    1. Yes. If you take a closer look at the photos, it has a bleacher hook in the front. This should allow you to lean back on the chair without tipping over. It may depend on how thick the bleacher seat is if the hook works properly, but it should be find for most cases.

  2. I have looked all over online and they are all out of stock. Do you think the chair and shipping (standard) would cost more than 42.99? That’s been the normal price I’ve been finding for the chairs. Is there an email that I could use differently than this chat?

    1. I found them in our local Costco in North Carolina and also saw them in a Utah Costco. I bought one from Costco and a different brand from amazon for $50. The $27 Costco one is much more comfortable than the high rated Amazon one.

      1. Ya. I always believe in Costco’s quality control. They usually pick the best product at the given price point. Glad you enjoy the Costco stadium seat more than the Amazon one. It just re-enforces my love for Costco =)

    1. If they were a little smaller, I’d be happy too. Unfortunately shipping will probably cost more than the chairs!

  3. Thank you for replying. Unfortunately Michigan Costco’s do not sell them. Their telling me maybe in the fall.

    1. Sorry to hear. I just went to Costco again yesterday (California) & they had a whole stack of them! I’ll pick them up for you….you just need to make the 2,000 mile trip to get them =). This seems more like a summer item rather than a fall. Hopefully you end up finding them

  5. Those are the chairs I have been looking for! Could you tell me when and what Costco you got them from. I called the Costco near me and they do not have them.

    1. I found these in the Foster City, CA Costco. I have seen them at a few of the other Costco’s around me as well. There was a whole stack of them as you can see. I’m guessing these will be a popular item as travel seems to be picking back up across the US. Hopefully you are able to find these. Let me know
