Costco sells this Franklin Sensors Stud Finder for $34.99. Scroll down for photos. For those of you looking to buy a new stud finder or upgrade your old one, this is an awesome deal! I was surprised to come across this because Costco doesn’t usually carry too many tools. They usually carry socket / screwdriver sets & sometimes cordless drill kits, but I rarely find a smaller product like this on the shelves. This is made by Franklin Sensors & gets awesome reviews! Even for the casual DIY’ers, these are great to have around for hanging TV’s & pictures. It even has a live wire meter so you don’t drill into electrical wiring. Costco Franklin Sensors ProFinder 7000+ Stud Finder

For reference, I own the basic Zircon Stud Finder which works OK. It’s not great & doesn’t come with built in bubble level feature. That is something I would really like because you’re usually hanging something that needs to be level. Having that feature built in would be much more convenient. I found this in the tools section of Costco & as you can see, the pile wasn’t very big. This Stud Finder was only in 1 of the 4 Costco’s I frequent, so they may be hard to come by. If you do find them, this would make for a nice upgrade or a great Christmas gift. If you can’t find these at Costco, make sure to check out these other HIGHLY RATED Stud Finders……
