Costco sells their Kirkland Signature Canned Chicken Breast for $9.99. Scroll down for photos. This canned chicken has been a staple of Costco for years now. It was one of my favorite products to buy for a long period of time. During my college years I would drain a can of chicken & add 2 big spoonful’s of salsa & eat it with an entire row of club crackers. Not the healthiest, but cheap, easy & filling. I ate that as a meal several times a week. I still enjoy it to this day but it’s a little more sophisticated. I’ll chop up some red onions, celery, mustard, relish, slivered almonds & some Greek yogurt to make a quasi chicken salad sandwich. It’s a big step up from 2 scoops of salsa. This still is one of my favorite buys at Costco. I also used to buy the Costco Canned Tuna all the time, but I recently started purchasing the Costco Safe Catch Wild Yellowfin Ahi Tuna. It’s tasty & makes for a really quick & easy meal. These canned goods are especially nice to have on the shelf, not just for convenience, but for emergencies. With all the power outages & gas outages in recent years, this is an inexpensive, long lasting item to have on the shelf for food. They are relatively cheap products to buy & can help keep you prepared for emergencies. The shelf life for these products is years. I happen to be in Costco and the chicken breast was being sampled along with Avocado mayo now I LOVE the chicken breast and not really a mayo fan and figured I would give it a try 🙂 so I would recommend the Sir Kingston Avocado Mayo along with the Kirkland Chicken breast to either make a salad or sandwiches

Does anyone have the mini booklet Of recipes that came on the Kirkland canned chicken?? Since I’ve moved out of California, I can’t find those recipes on the cans anymore….they were delicious….curried chicken salad, a chili and another type of chicken salad. Please, please, can you post it or send it to me?
