Costco sells this 50-pack of velvet clothes hangers for $17.99. Scroll down for photos. We purchased these a while back when they went on sale for $5 off. I never thought I would be happy to upgrade my cheap plastic hangers to the more expensive non-slip hangers, but these are great! As a bigger guy I have large jeans, shirts & jackets. The cheap plastic hangers would always end up bending & cause the clothes to slip off frequently inside my closet. I never realized how annoying it was until we upgraded. These are a velvet non-slip type hangers that can hold the largest of jeans or jackets. You get 50 hangers / pack so it’s not terribly expensive to upgrade your wardrobe. Costco Flocked Non-Slip Hangers 1/8″ wide, 50-pack
To be honest, my wife was the one who pushed the issue on our hangers. I am frugal by nature & didn’t feel like spending money on something I thought was working just fine. The only reason I agreed was because we got them on sale. Honestly, she was totally right. The hangers look nice, are sturdy & the non-slip part prevents any slippage on my heavy clothes. It’s a great deal for $17.99, but if you can wait for the sale, it’s an even better deal. Costco.com currently sells a 2-pack (100 hangers) for $34.99, which is cheaper than in-store! That almost never happens. There are over 4,000 reviews & they get a 4.6 / 5 star rating. The biggest complaint was that they break. It’s never happened to me & I find them very sturdy.
