Costco Lamb Shank, Superior Farms Seasoned

Costco sells this seasoned lamb shank for $4.99 / pound. Scroll down for photos. I’m a big fan of the pre-seasoned meats Costco offers. We buy the Spatchcock Chicken frequently, which is good for a quick, cheap healthy meal. This is a lamb shank that has been seasoned with rosemary and garlic. Lamb is more gamey than chicken, but I really enjoy it. Some may not….my wife doesn’t. That’s why I don’t buy it too often. If you’re new to lamb, this is a GREAT way to be introduced. It’s simple, flavorful & the directions are so simple. This lamb shank is bone in & can be ready in 60 minutes with a pressure cooker. Here are a few more details about this Costco Lamb Shank……

Costco Superior Farms Seasoned Lamb Shank

This is a good size package & can feed 4. It is around $27 – $33 for the lamb shank. Throw in a little rice & vegetables & you can prepare a really nice meal for under $10 / person. I would recommend to follow the exact instructions below & use a pressure cooker. If you don’t have a pressure cooker, get one! They’re great. This is an in store item only. I recommend you try it at least once. If you go to the Superior Farms website they provide recipes on how to cook lamb: braised, braciola style, BBQ, etc. If you don’t have a pressure cooker, make sure to follow the links below for the BEST PRESSURE COOKERS AROUND (I own the 1st one. It’s AMAZING!)……..

  1. Linda says our Costco in Baton Rouge is no longer carrying this item. I am so sad about that. \

    1. This is a seasonal item so it may just be temporarily off the shelves for now. Keep your eye out

    1. You can always put a request in online with Costco. It takes you to a 3rd party site that manages their comments/inquiries. If they ever do carry it I recommend you try it at least once. Keep checking back because it may be seasonal where you are
