Costco sells these Heavy Duty Tarps for $19.99. Scroll down for photos. This is one of the best deals you are going to find for these type of heavy duty tarps. When we moved into our home, this was one of the first purchases I made. There are always useful to have around for many reasons. We had to store a few big items outside for a while & these tarps help protect them from the elements. I had to go to the dumps a few times & they require “covered loads”. These tarps made it a breeze especially with the many grommets. They’re also plenty big to cover backyard furniture or tools when you don’t have a place to store them. Costco Heavy Duty Reversible Tarps (Blue/Silver), 12′ x 16′ 2 Pack
These don’t seem to be in stock in all Costco’s so you may have to look around to find them. I got mine about 3 years ago & I just spotted these in Dallas. They really are great tarps. I’ve used them lightly, but had no issues with the quality & I could tell these will last a long time. I’m sure with enough wear & tear they will rip, but they are only $9.99 each, so take that into consideration. If you can maintain the same folds, these store nicely. Otherwise, they can be a little bigger than when first unfolded. Be aware the 12′ x 16′ is quite large too! If you can’t find these at Costco, make sure to check out these other HIGHLY RATED tarps……

These are a hit or miss item at Costco. I found these in Texas when I was there, but they are infrequently on the shelves at my Costco’s in Northern California. Even if they say “discontinued” I would keep your eyes out and check every time you go because they may have a new vendor / supplier so it will be under a different item number. I use these tarps over my Shelter Logic shed that started to deteriorate / rip within 2 years. The Costco tarps are on its 4th year or more with no rips. Much superior material. I just erected my second Shelter Logic and won’t be fooled again. I’m covering my new shed with the Costco tarps all for $20 to prevent prevent premature failure.

I measured the attached sample swatch with a caliper. Thickness is about 9 mil. Fyi, I bought a large tarp at Walmart that was labeled 10 mil but actually measured thinner than the Costco tarp – more like 8 mil.
Costco’s is the better deal.
