Costco Christmas Wreath, 32″ Greenery w/ Dual Color

Costco gives us another item for the lazy Christmas decorator (hint: it’s me). Between the 7.5′ Artificial Christmas Tree, the Costco Reindeer Set, the Costco Nativity Set & this Christmas Wreath…….Christmas decorations should be up in less than 30 minutes! OK, that’s maybe a slight exaggeration, but still. Here we have the Costco Christmas wreath. The display was up high & it was lit up with the colored lights. Scroll down for photos & price. It felt like a high quality Christmas wreath when I examined the product. I was also a huge fan of the battery operated lights. It requires 3 D batteries, which I’m guessing will last you a good month or so. It even has a timer on it….. 6 hours on & 18 hours off. See what I mean about being a lazy decorator. Just set it & forget it! Here are a few more details about this Greenery Wreath……..

  • 32″ size – that’s pretty tall considering a standard front yard fence is about 36″ high
  • 50 LED lights: Dual Color: white & color
  • Requires 3 D batteries: Not included.
  • Indoor & Outdoor use
  • Brand: Greenery
  • Timer: 6 hours on, 18 hours off, read the directions for timer operation

  1. Does anyone know how to turn on the flashing light function from multi colored to white? I saw it change colors at the store and don’t know how to do that once I got home. I just have two choices, white or multi. I don’t know how to make it switch between the two. Thanks.

    1. It may be different, but for my Christmas Tree it is the 3rd option. You may have to wait a few seconds to see it working, but give it a try. Let me know if you end up figuring it out.

  2. Bought this wreath, got it home and found the lights do not stay on more than 10 minutes, if that! Returned for another, and I have same problem. This not the one with the knob to turn. It is the one with buttons. Brand new batteries are properly installed!

    1. Interesting that it happened twice. Are you sure it’s not the batteries. Is it possible that you have 1 dead battery in the mix that is causing it to go out so quickly. Most of these wreaths are designed to be simple with the 8 / 16 hour timer. Let me know if you end up finding the issue

  3. Having the same issue. Timer does not work. Turned on & it worked first night. No one has touched it. Second night came back as scheduled and then never turned off as scheduled. Other than that it’s a nice wreath.

    1. Interesting. Are you sure somebody didn’t happen to turn it on/off, thus resetting the timer? It could also just be an issue with the wreath which would be unfortunate

      1. I ordered this wreath last year, love it! Timer worked perfectly, But I lost instructions to set timer for this year. Can you possible tell me how to set? If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!

        1. As soon as you turn it on the timer starts. So when you turn it on it goes for 8 hours & then turns off for 16 hours. A lot of the Costco electronics are like this. Hope that helps

          1. Awesome! Glad it worked out. This is such a common question & it’s how a lot of electronics at Costco work. Glad you’re all set for the holidays!

    2. I know nobody touched it…too high for anyone to reach without ladder.
Tried resetting as comments suggest. New batteries even.
Too bad timer is a consistent flaw. Same issue with replacement.

      1. Thanks Moe. Sounds like you did all the necessary troubleshooting and it still doesn’t work. Guess it’ll just have to be a return. I haven’t heard too many bad things about this product so it may just be a lemon. Sorry for the troubles

  4. I changed the batteries on one of my wreaths and since that time, the lights on the wreath does not turn off after 6 hours. It stayed on all night and was still on in the morning. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have no problems with my other wreath.

    1. I’m sorry to hear. Is there any chance someone else came by & turned it off/on, thus resetting the 6 hour time limit. Have you tried taking the batteries out for a few minutes before putting the new ones in. I don’t think there is a hard reset switch on these Costco Wreath’s. If that doesn’t work, it may just be the unit itself, which would be a bummer. You can always exchange it if they are in stock. Please let me know how it works out

      1. No one else in my family has touched the wreath. I did take the batteries out once, hoping it would work again, but nothing happens. The timer seems to have stopped working. I’ll try leaving the batteries out longer, and see if that works. I believe the wreaths are no longer in stock at Costco.

        1. Ya. They are all sold out at my Costco as well. Sorry to hear about your wreath. It sounds like it may be broken. Are you handy with electronics? Can you see if its something simple, like a wire that has detached from the battery compartment. These devices are not that complicated, so with a little digging you may be able to find the source of the problem. When all else fails you can always return it. Happy Holidays!

  5. Ahhh!! Got one that we couldn’t get to light up. Went back today to get a different one. CANNOT get lights to come on, and the only instructions with ours were for “how to change a bulb”. Nothing else.
Please offer any instructions from yours or tips.
    Thx!
    Chris

    1. Hi Chris. Sorry to hear. Could be a couple things. Are you sure you don’t have the batteries in wrong? Many of these items tend to have the battery direction hard to see, so it may be as simple as that. Can you see if the wires are attached to the battery prongs inside the case. Sometimes the solder is so tiny they can be easily popped off. Lastly, I’m not sure if a fuse comes with this model (like a string of lights), but if there is a fuse, check to see if it’s blown. I hope that helps. Please let me know if you do find out what is wrong with the Christmas Wreath. Thanks

    1. According to the website Costco says “The batteries operate on a timer, allowing you to pre-set for 6 hours on and 18 hours off throughout the holiday season.” I believe it rotates 6 hours on, from the time you turn it on. Then it rotates to the 18 hours off & so on.

  6. Thanks so much for the quick response. You are correct on how the timer functions (I finally remembered).
    Blessings, Lisa

  7. I have misplaced the instructions on how to set the timer. Could someone please send me the instructions? Greatly appreciated! Lisa

    1. I looked around on the Costco website to see if I could find a manual. I had no luck. Can you send me a photo of the timer? According to the website Costco says “The batteries operate on a timer, allowing you to pre-set for 6 hours on and 18 hours off throughout the holiday season.”. Is it possible for timer mode to be 6 hours on, from the time you turn it on? Then it rotates to the 18 hours off & so on. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Maybe someone else will be able to chime in……

        1. Yes but there is only 1 button. It states “on/off/timer”
When I push the button, it turns on then off then on then off. How do I know if I am on the timer or constant on?

          1. There is not a constant on. The “on” is the timer. When you turn it on, it turns off in 6 hours. So if you turn it on at 5pm, it will shut off at 11pm & continue to do so until you press the button again, thus resetting the timer. Please let me know if that works for your particular model
