Costco Kale Salad, Sweet Kale Salad Kit, 28 oz

Costco sells this Sweet Kale Salad Kit for $4.79. Scroll down for photos. This is ALMOST a perfect buy, except for the fact that it’s not organic. My wife & I prefer to buy most of our fruits & vegetables labeled organic. This is not, but that’s OK though, because we’re not complete sticklers about it. This is still one of the best all around easy, cheap & healthy items you can buy. It’s a tasty salad that can feed up to 8. It’s less than $5 which comes out to about $0.50 per serving. If I’m on the go or I want a quick meal, this is ready in a minute. It’s loaded with superfoods & makes a great 1 – 2 meals for me. What’s nice about saving the salad for later is that it doesn’t get too soggy because it’s kale. Here are a few more details about this Costco Kale Salad……

Costco Sweet Kale Salad Kit

If you really want to make this healthy, skip the poppyseed dressing. That’s where you’re getting a lot of the fat, carbohydrates & sugar. You can always just dress it with a little apple cider vinegar & olive oil. It may be a little bland, but the cranberries & chicory help to give it some flavor. I only do that when I’m being real extreme with my diet. This is also a great kit for a dinner party. 1 or 2 of these & your salad is ready to go. If you’ve never tried it make sure to grab a bag & keep an open mind. Some may not like the brussels sprouts & broccoli.
