Costco Jadore Pop Up Tent w/ Storage Bag, Kids

I found this in the middle aisle of Costco next to some of the other toys. I’ve seen it at several Costco’s for a while now, so they should be easy to find. Unfortunately Costco doesn’t sell this on Costco.com, so it’s an in-store only item. This pop up tent was surprisingly big for how small the box was. You’re little one should be able to fit 1 or 2 friends inside as well as some stuffed animals. I like the idea that it folds away nicely, because I don’t like big bulky toys that take up space. We already have enough of those =). If you can’t find this at Costco, make sure to take a look at some of these other HIGHLY RATED kids pop up tents…….

  1. I bought one today to give as a birthday gift to a little girl. They have them for $6.97 at my local Costco. With that price, how can you go wrong?

    • No way! that is a great price! I would have bought several for that price. It’s a GREAT gift for kids from 2 – 6. My kid absolutely loves building forts / tents & throwing his stuffed animals inside. Glad you found a great deal!

  2. Absolutely the worst put together tent I have purchased. My kids got them for Christmas thinking that they would be at least put together half decent. Was I ever wrong, my kids got maybe a months worth of use out of them. The poles have pushed their way through the bottom supports and completely unfixable. They aren’t even safe for my kids to play in without them falling down on them. Not very impressed.

    • Sorry for the bad experience Jordan. We had a similar experience with a bigger pop up like this (not from Costco), where the poles pushed through. We tried sewing it a couple times & it worked for a while, but the kids just thrash it. Based on the lightweight material, I don’t think it was meant to be used the way kids will use it. Either way, it was fun for my kid while it lasted.

  3. I am usually good at folding up Sun shades and pop up things like this but I can’t figure out how to fold this butterfly tent up! You tube hasn’t helped yet. Any tips? Anyone? Easy to put up and my daughter loved it by the way.

    • You gotta keep twisting and turning. Like I said, I couldn’t figure out my sun shade for a bit & as soon as I got it, it seemed so obvious. I know it’s probably too late, but do you remember how it was packed. They still sell them at my Costco, so I’ll check the next time I go & see if I can open the box

      • I keep seeing this on the shelves. We purchased our kid a pop-up van so we wouldn’t really need this, however, I really want to buy it because I want an attempt at folding this up! If anyone can shed any light on this, that would be helpful

  4. I agree with everything you said but I cannot figure out how to fold it for storing & transporting. I’ve watched videos of similar items but have been struggling for 2 hrs.

    • It reminds me of my sun shade I purchased at Costco. Once I figured it out it was so easy, but I struggled for a little while. It should fold up nice and compact. Please let me know if you end up figuring it out. My only recommendation would be YouTube, but you’ve already tried that.
