Costco Brown Sugar Boba Ice Milk Bar by I-MEI

Just like the Costco Melona Ice Cream Bars, this is a product everyone should try once. If you don’t like it, someone will be happy to eat the rest for you. They do go on sale every once in a while, so you could wait for the sale. Like I said above, bring these to a BBQ & it’ll be a unique addition everyone can enjoy. They do sell these at 99 Ranch Markets & other Asian markets, but they can be hard to come by. Costco is going to be the best price most of the time if you can find them. They are a little over $1 / bar, which is a great deal! If you’re looking to try Boba Tapioca Pearls by themselves, make sure to try out these HIGHLY RATED brands…….

    1. I am not sure which Costco’s keep them in stock. They are back in stock in the Northern California Costco’s though. You’ll have to keep checking your local because the frozen desserts seem to rotate frequently

        1. Yes they are! They are still in stock too. Costco seems to rotate their desserts frequently, so you never know when they will be out of stock. Glad you found them & thanks for stopping by!

  1. re Michael C’s comment above.. these are not “tea” flavor.. just brown sugar and milk flavor. I like the boba tea better myself. But these costco bars are delicious as well.. taste just like the brown sugar milk drinks with bubbles I order at local Rockville, MD boba places

    1. Ya, these are really good. We’ve been buying the Yasso Yogurt Bars lately, so these have fallen out of the rotation =)

  2. hi, i just bought these, and they are deliciuos but i cant find them on the costco site. Can you tell me please the price as of april 2022. please. thank u

    1. They don’t sell these online because they are perishable. These are found in-store only. If they sell them at your local store I would stock up on them. Next time I go I’ll see what the current price is

  3. These are the best I’ve ever had! Thanks for the posting! Now I tried going back today and they’re out!! Obviously people love these as much as we do!

    1. Nooooo. That happens all too often. I didn’t see them for a few months & they finally came back in stock. I think it’s just a supply issue. I’m sure you’ll see them again soon. Thanks for stopping by

  4. The taste will vary depending on the person.

Being ‘Asian’, the boba ice cream bars were not pleasant. Had relatives try it and they were not pleased either. Had to throw out the remaining pieces.
The bars do not taste anything near what a milk tea drink should taste. Lots of Chinese eatery places in MA so better to pay more and buy the cold milk tea drink instead.

    1. Thanks for the comment Michael. I can’t say that I’ve had authentic Boba before, so I may not be the best judge. Plus I have a sweet tooth so it’s hard for me to find a dessert I don’t like. I still really enjoy these Boba Bars for what they are. I appreciate you stopping by to give your two cents. Sorry you didn’t enjoy them like I did.

    1. Thanks Mark! They really are. Glad I was able to finally find them on the shelves. The perfect treat for summer!

  5. THANK YOU for this recommendation!! I love bubble/boba tea and didn’t know about these. They are SO good!!

    1. Awesome! Glad you found these & enjoy them as much as I do! They’re dangerous in the summertime when it’s so hot out. You can eat 2 – 3 of them in a row!
