This pizza came highly recommended from my family members, so we decided to give it a shot. It did not disappoint! Scroll for photos. This Costco Detroit Style Pizza was very tasty with a great texture on the pizza dough. We usually try not to eat too many frozen or pre-made foods, but this was a cheat night for us. It was so easy to cook too! You just pop it in the oven for about 20 minutes and you’re good to go. What I liked about it was that I took off half of the sliced & diced pepperoni to make it a half cheese, half peperoni pizza. Take a look at the photos below to see what I mean. Although it looks a little small, it is a thick & heavy pizza. The 3 of us could not finish it, so 1 was plenty for 2 adults & a child. Considering this is only $11.49 for 2 pizza’s, it’s a great deal! It’s a nice backup to have in the refrigerator for those late night dinner plans. This is not something we will eat regularly, because we tend to stay away from frozen foods. None the less, it was very tasty & filling & if you’re a pizza lover, you should try it at least once. Remember that it’s frozen & probably won’t taste like you’re sitting in a authentic Detroit pizzeria. Anyways, if you are looking to get this style pizza delivered, Amazon Fresh sells frozen pizza’s from Outsider’s Pizza Co, which is supposed to be great too. Keep checking. They are still available in the freezer section and now come in 2 different styles. They now carry cheese! They must have read my tip on moving all the sausage to one end in order to create 2 pizzas =)

SUGGESTION : Pan for Pizza had a lot of the cheese & meats under the pizza in the pan. Before baking- take frozen pizza out of the pan and pour all of the toppings back onto the top of pizza and place it back in the pan, then cook.
Please consider my suggestion to add to your prep before cooking.
The pizza will have all the toppings it came with !

Delicious pizza! Sure hope they don’t discontinue it! I never have been a big fan of a lot of the pizzas you bring home and bake, but this one is fantastic!
Awesome! Ya, they still stock it in our store. I know a few commenters, said they weren’t going to stock it anymore, but that doesn’t seem to be the case
It’s a shame that they are discontinuing this pizza! We love this pizza! Plenty of cheese and pepperoni. It’s two meals for me and my husband. You should buy some and keep it in the freezer.
You’re not the first person to say they are discontinuing the pizza. I keep seeing it on the shelves at my Costco so that must be a local thing or maybe it’s just a rumor. I was at Costco today & they were stocked up in the freezer section. Been that way for months now.

Just bought one at Costco. It has pepperoni, sausage, and bacon on it. Very good and I like it better than the pepperoni pizza they offer!

All Costcos have stopped caring Motor City Pizza. They will not be getting them back unless you call Costco and let them know how you feel. Get them at Walmart!

I had to look up what a Pizzazz was first. What a great invention for pizza lovers. I’m sure it would work. It may not be as good as even the oven, but I’m sure it will warm it up. Give it a try & let us know how it works out
Our Costco’s in Orange County, Ca are not carrying them right now. How do we get them to order for our stores.
Have you tried contacting Motor City Pizza. They responded to me a couple of times through social media. They would probably be able to answer that faster than Costco would. I would try them first. Otherwise have a Costco employee look the product up & see if they are just temporarily out of stock. Keep me updated

Best frozen Pizza ever! The crust is awesome and it’s very cheesy. I add veggies and this is my family’s favorite pizza.
It really is! I passed this up 100 times before I finally purchased it & that was because of a recommendation. The crust is the best part. Frozen pizzas have come a long way since the last time I purchased one. That’s a great idea with the veggies! I wish they made a cheese only or a veggie combo. That would be a nice option.
