Costco sells this 2-pack of Cast Iron Skillet Pans for $34.99. Scroll down for photos. We own 3 of these pans & absolutely love them. They get used almost every day & they are going to last us forever. We used to cook with a set of those non-stick pans, but they always ended up losing their “non-stick” feature. Plus, I can only imagine that we were ingesting some of the coating that ended up coming off. If you’ve never cooked with cast iron before, they’re great. You can grill on these pans & take the pan directly from the stove to the oven. We especially love to do that with nice steaks. Costco Tramontina 2-pack Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillets
For $35 this is the perfect starter set. You get the 12″ skillet which is a great all-purpose skillet. I use my almost every morning for my egg scramble. It takes a little while to get the hang of the proper heat & cooking spray to get it to be “non-stick”. The grill pan is AWESOME for steaks too. Every once in a while we will treat ourselves to Costco’s Filet Mignon’s and we cook these 5 minutes per side and about 10 min right in the oven. They come out perfect every time! I try to use steel wool with a light scrub to leave some of the oil on. Don’t forget to oil these after cleaning or they will rust!
