Costco sell this Hand Crank Sun Shade for $59.99. Scroll down for photos. This is an 8 foot by 8 foot sunshade that is meant for decks, patios, porches, windows or any place you need some shade. This item is a seasonal item & was in stock around February/March. We used to have one of these on our trailer when we went camping & it was wonderful. It was easy to setup & put away & it kept the porch outside the trailer much cooler. These new ones are even more efficient at keeping the UV rays & heat away. Make sure to measure the area you need covered. If the area is large enough, you may want to grab 2. These also go great with the Costco Gazebos, which are also highly rated. Anyways, here are a few more details about this Costco Sun Shade……..

Costco Sun Shade 8′ x 8′ Hand Crank Operation
This is one of the better deals out there. I’ve seen a lot of Sun Shades for sale that are the shade only (no valance). They don’t come with the protective valance that comes standard with this. This kit includes all the mounting hardware to have your shade up with an hour. It can be retracted & extended with ease. This will help protect the shade material from the elements when not in use, thus making it last longer. At only $59.99 this is a great deal. Costco doesn’t currently sell this online, but they did have plenty in store. They are 8 feet long so remember to bring a truck, or this is going to be sticking out your windows =). If you can’t find this at Costco or want some other HIGHLY RATED options, please make sure to check out these alternatives (check the first one! Great ratings & retractable)…….

I need more installation hardware for the two shades that I purchased at costco.
Contact the company. A lot of times they will just mail you out another bag of the installation hardware. It’s cheap. If not, run to Home Depot or Lowe’s. Was it missing? Or do you just need more?
Is there any way to hang this with aluminum patio cover hooks? I don’t want it to be permanently attached to our patio cover but need to figure out an option for shading our table when the sun goes down
I’m sure there is! You will just need a little bit of ingenuity & I’m sure it could be hung with hooks. Maybe attach it to a piece of wood and add hooks to the wood. That would allow you to hang it temporarily. Let me know what you end up doing
I am looking to purchase one of the Sun Shade blinds 8ft x 8ft with crank in the brown color with a valance. how can I order one.
You can find them in Costco. I was there yesterday & they still have them in stock. Unfortunately they are not sold online right now, so you’d have to find them in store. Good luck & I hope you find one
What Costco did you see them at? I’m in Abbotsford BC… really would love to find them! Thx
I found these in Northern California. I think they are dwindling off the shelves though because summer ends in less than a month. Ask one of the employees to look up the item number and hopefully they can find one nearby. Good luck!
We love our shade but we need to move it over a couple of feet. Someone else put it up for us and I can’t figure out how to get the frame work off. I removed the shade and screws but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to get it down. I hope someone can tell me!
If you’ve removed the screws, it might just be stuck to the paint. If it’s been mounted for a while, it can stick to the paint and feel really stuck. I’ve had that happen with several items in my house. It could also be a screw you’re not seeing. Let me know if you end up figuring it out. Thanks
Im happy with the product but (I have 3) but not enough clips are included. Where can I order more?
This shade was easy to install and works great to provide shade underneath the deck!
I recommend it.
The only thing wrong pin my opinion is the crank handle is not well designed. It works but would work better with the handle flipped.
Awesome Sonya! Glad you were able to find one & that it works well for you. Any chance you can flip the handle yourself?
