Costco sells this Gingerbread House Kit for $11.99. Scroll down for photos. This has been a Costco staple for several years now. This is always a fun project to do for the holidays. Just note that this kit comes with a pre-built gingerbread house that is ready to decorate. I know it’s fun to also build the gingerbread house, but this works great for younger kids or those of you who aren’t great craftsmen =). I can remember building gingerbread houses that just fell apart, which takes some of the fun away. This comes with a sturdy house for you to decorate to your hearts desire. This would work great as a gift too. It’s quite a large house, so make sure you have a place to put it! Here are a few more details about this Costco Gingerbread House Kit……
- Brand: Create-a-Treat
- Pre-Built Gingerbread Mansion (apparently it’s not a “house”)

- Total Weight: 3 lbs. 12 oz.

Costco Create a Treat Gingerbread Mansion Pre-Built Kit, Gingerbread House
This is a great gift for the holidays. Give one to a co-worker, friend, neighbor or anyone you think would enjoy a fun project like this. I can remember as a kid, always picking off the icing & candy over the course of days, but they never really tasted that great. If you’re going to eat candy, make sure this is only used as a last resort =). Costco does not currently sell these online, so this is an in-store only item. They do sell a few other gingerbread kits that you may be interested in, so make sure to look at those. I’ve been to all 5 Costco’s around me & they were in stock at every one, so they should be easy to find. If you can’t find these at Costco, or want to actually build the house, make sure to check out these HIHGLY RATED Gingerbread House Kits…….

Denver Costco stores didn’t have the gingerbread kits as of 9/12/24.
Thank you for the heads up. I haven’t seen them at my Costco’s yet, but I think they will be in stock soon. This is something they usually sell every year. I’ll post them when I see them. Thanks for stopping by!
I bought this for my granddaughter and she had fun putting it together, but the list of ingredients said there were supposed to be gummy stars. Those were not in the box and that was the candy she was really looking forward to. The kits should be complete in my opinion.
Sorry to hear about the missing gummy stars. That is a bummer especially for kids. I know you probably don’t want to return it over that, but you could maybe let Costco know. There may be many others with the same complaint
Don’t bother buying them. I purchase 5 for my grand kids to decorate and the fell apart. The whole house just separated on three of them. I used to buy ones from Michael’s and put them together myself and never had an issue. The company doesn’t use much frosting to keep them intact. These are off our list
Thanks Will. Appreciate the feedback. I purchased this Gingerbread house & I didn’t have much of an issue with it falling apart. Sorry you had a bad experience.
I want to buy 20 of these as Gifts foe my Workers but failed to see them in Costcos ,in Alberta. Where can i buy them from?
Oh no. Sorry to hear. These were in all the stores in Northern California. Not sure what you keep in stock at your local Costco’s but you should be able to find some version of a gingerbread kit. I’ve seen 3-4 different kinds at my local Costco
