I was shocked to see this in stock because of how popular home gyms are right now. This weight set goes for about $500 on Craigslist. Plates, dumbbells, kettlebells are all going for $2+ a pound. This is a GREAT deal! Costco used to sell the Cap Barbell Weights Set with Rack 200 lbs, but I haven’t seen that in ages. We have a rubber hex weight set of our own & we love them. With gyms being closed for the foreseeable future, everyone is adapting & working out at home. I have no doubt these will be hard to find, so if you see it, grab it! Costco Inspire Fitness Rubber Hex 210 LB Dumbbell Set
I thought about buying it just because I feel like someone I know would want it. With 5 – 30 pound dumbbells you can get a variety of workouts in. With all the fitness apps & videos, you’ll never be short of ideas. Best of all, this set comes with a nice stand that doesn’t take up too much space. It would look great next to a Peloton (We love our peloton!). If you can’t find this at Costco, the only thing I can recommend is the Bowflex SelectTech 552 Dumbbells. I bought a set, there were only two at Bellingham, WA Costco. This is the kind of thing you have to buy at Costco when you see them! Question: anyone have trouble with the rubber being extremely stinky? They seem to have some slimy coating on them (preservative?) and washing with Mr. Clean hasn’t reduced it much, currently airing out on our back porch! Anyone else have this problem?
I’ve had this issue with other weights in the past. When I purchased my 5 – 75 pounds set, it stunk for weeks, maybe months. Kinda annoying, but it will eventually go away. You probably helped speed up the process by washing them so that’s a good thing
My Costco claimed to have 3 or 4 in stock . It was a big scam they didnt have any and said they would get them in october this is january. Costco shame on you !
Sorry to hear about that Joe. These are currently in stock at my Costco’s in Northern California so keep checking. They’re been in stock for a few weeks now too so they don’t seem to be short on supply

This is going to be on a per Costco basis. They are not currently selling on Costco.com. I did see the BowFlex SelectTech 52 Dumbbells at my local Costco a couple days ago, so keep an eye out for those if you’re interested. It’s an awesome set!
Random, but came across this post. I see Rubber and PVC on the Costco site. What is the main difference between them?
It’s just the outer layer of the dumbbells are made with PVC vs rubber. You can research the difference between the 2 as far as longevity vs smell. These products may off gas & one might smell worse than the other. As long as they are both taken care of they will last you a long time. I would just go with whatever you prefer. If it was me, I would just buy them in store since I’ve seen them in stock & you’ll save $100
Just purchased the 210 lbs. Inspire weight set with rack directly from the Costco warehouse in East Lyme, CT. Could not be happier. Great price! Did not detect a smell associated with the coating but out of caution let them air out in the garage. Rack is sturdy and a breeze to assemble as I used my own tools.
If you see this at a Costco, buy it immediately. You won’t be sorry.
Awesome! It’s such a great price! It comes out to about $1.42 / pound which is awesome. I have seen these in stock a lot more at Costco, so their not flying off the shelves like they did at the beginning of the year. Glad you found them and glad there was no off-gassing! Get your swole on =)!
Has anyone seen these in the Bay Area recently?
I did see them at the South City Costco a few weeks back. I honestly thought about buying them just to have because I’m sure I know someone who would want them. If I see them again, I’d be happy to pick them up as long as you’re willing to drive to the peninsula.

Thanks. I just saw these yesterday (2/18/2021) at my local Costco in the Bay Area. Was very surprised to see them on the shelves. Still have a limit of 2 & people are still trying to sell them for $600 on eBay! Damn scalpers

I originally found these at the Foster City Costco & I most recently saw them (3 days ago) at the South San Francisco Costco. They had a nice stack of them too so they must have just put them out on the floor. Keep your eyes out!

I’m located in the Bay Area, CA. I’m sure this item will be very limited in supply. The home gym & weight sets are so popular right now.
