Costco Lasko Fan, 16 Inch Pedestal Fan, Oscillating

Costco sells this 16″ Lasko Fan for $34.99. Scroll down for photos. What can I say? It’s a fan. This is a good time to start thinking about summer, because last year during the heat wave, these were all sold out. It’s like when a cold spell hits & everyone runs to Costco looking for the Presto Heat Dish, & they’re sold out. This is your run of the mill affordable household fan. It doesn’t have all the fancy bells & whistles, but it’s not cheap either. It’s got an adjustable thermostat & an auto off timer. Lasko makes several heating & cooling products & they all have pretty good ratings. I have a small space heater from several years ago & it’s still running strong. Anyways, here are a few more details about this Costco Lasko Fan……

  • Lasko 16 Inch Pedestal Fan
  • Adjustable Thermostat
  • 5 Function Remote Control
  • Widespread Oscillation
  • Electronic Auto Off Timer
  • Adjustable Height
  • 4 Speed Settings

Costco Lasko 16 Inch Pedestal Fan

The nice thing about this fan is that it stores easily. Bring it out in the summer & tuck it away in the box for winter. Costco had a couple different models available. They had the tower fan available as well as the 18 inch pedestal fan. That is just slightly bigger & costs a few dollars more. I found these in the first few sections next to all the other home goods items. If you’re looking to really cool the house & don’t have A/C, check out the portable evaporative coolers (link below). We bought one (Hessaire MC18M, we love it!!) & it REALLY helps. Here are a few links to some other HIGHLY RATED fans as well as the swamp coolers (evaporative coolers)……..

  1. The remote literally worked once. I was able to turn the fan on with it then it died. This is cheaply constructed.

    1. Sorry to hear about that. Did you contact Lasko? They may be able to just send you out a new remote if that’s the issue. Are you able to open up the remote to see if it’s as simple as a loose wire. Let me know if you end up finding a solution. Sorry about your troubles

    1. I know they are sold in the 5 stores in the Bay Area. That’s where I’m from. I;m not sure about Eugene Oregon, so you may want to give them a call. Also, this is a post about the Costco Lasko fan =).
